PPS Library Services is working with individual schools to roll out "Let's Get Reading!" book  bags for distance learning.
​At Buckman, we will start distributing bags the week of 9/21/20. 

The Parent Info Letter gives all the information you will need to come pick up a bag of books  from Buckman or arrange a visit to get the books to your students.

The Parent Info Letter is full of questions you might have. Some questions are posed below:

In each book bag, there will be a packet with these info sheets:

• Note from your Teacher-Librarian will be included in each bag (QR code with audio recording)
• Genre Studies: Students and families may use the information on the handout to practice identifying the genre of each title in the bag. These pages will be in a sheet protector so that it can be disinfected between patrons. Grades K-2 handout | Grades 3-5 handout ​​​
• FAQs will be included in each bag (QR code with FlipGrid responses)
• Conversation Starters will be included in each bag (QR code with audio recording)
