Reverso Poems using ChatterPix

Marilyn Singer's reverso poems are quite interesting. She writes a poem then reverses the lines in a mirroring poem and has two different viewpoints! Our 4th and 5th graders used an app called "ChatterPix" to make the images in these books come alive!

Our third grade classes began exploring concrete poetry in library.

We have been creating our own on paper and also making concrete poems with the application: Theme Poetry, through ReadWriteThink.

MUSIC!

Reba Parker, local musician and retired teacher-librarian, has joined our fifth graders to create original music. We have been exploring poetry and relations to music. What a fantastic way to end out our school year!
