Short, Very Short, Shorter-than-ever-Stories

In 2nd grade we start discovering that illustrations can tell more of a story than the words in a book. Of course, words are just as important, however, expressing ourselves can take various forms...

One Day, The End: Short, Very Short, Shorter-Than-Ever-Stories illustrates just that! This book is filled with four line stories that tell many more details within the pictures. We also got to talk briefly about concrete poetry ;)

We spent two library times creating our stories and using many materials to illustrate, adding more details than our words could hold.

So we did!
Come check it out in the library!
Our 2nd graders are published!

(we also got really into Emily Arrow's song!)

UPDATE!
Fred Kohler replied to my message sharing this post!
(and he really liked my librarian van) ;)
